When "H" came to me about doing a boudoir session, I could not have been more excited!! She is such a sweet and amazing person!! I am so happy I got the privilege of doing this boudoir session with her! She surprised her Hubby-To-Be the day of their wedding with a "little black book" :D

So.. Many people ask me why I got into photography..

I simply tell them I kind of fell into it. I always had a love for Art, but I never could draw or paint. 

My dad always had an interest in photography, so it sparked an interest with me in my early teenage years. 

In my first semester of college, I took a dark room photography class, and from the first moment in the darkroom, I fell in love. I knew God had gave me the gift and the love for Art, just never knew that it was my calling to be a photographer. Then things took off from there. I spent two years learning the in's and out's of photography and how to use the camera properly. Then I bought my first digital camera!! and 4 years later, I am still learning every day new things about the art!!

This brings me to another question I am constantly asked... Why are you taking pictures of people in their underwear?!?!? To the small minded people from a small minded town, I do Boudoir Photography for many reasons, but the main one is to help women feel comfortable with their inner and outer beauty!! Boudoir photography is an amazing art! I am so happy to have been inspired by many fellow photographers who have paved the way for Boudoir photography!! 

Another question I get is, What does Boudoir mean??

Boudoir {pronounced  bŏo dwăawr} comes from late 18^th century French word and is translated as – a woman’s bedroom or a private sitting room.  Boudoir photography, therefore, usually takes place in a setting such as a bedroom, an intimate setting to create classy images that can be soft, romantic, sexy, sensual, or naughty. 

 Sooo... Who should get a boudoir session??

1. Any woman who wants to surprise someone special in her life! The little black book, or any other product I offer, would be the perfect gift for any special occasion. 

2. A woman who wants to capture her beauty and keep special memories of it forever!

3. Any woman who needs a little confidence boost. 

4. A woman who is thinking about having a baby, but wants a reference point for the future of what she might what her body to look like after the baby. 

5. Any woman, of any size, of any age, of any height! There are no limitations! Every woman is beautiful just the way she is!!

With that being said, here are some of my favorites from a boudoir shoot I recently did!! "K" was such a natural!!
